From one metro station to another


My metro card lies in one corner of my messy almirah , it hasn't travelled for days.
I definitely miss the frequent trips to Nehru Place , McDonald's and dilli ke momos and random trips around the city with my college friends. 
Now , we have been quarantined for so long that mental health is not even a thing anymore.

Desperately waiting for everything to be normal again.

Yeh Jawani hai deewani or YJHD is the "dil chahta hai " for 2000s kids.  Jaise kabhi Goa ka plan successful nhi hua , waise hi Manali ka bhi nhi hoega. Plus , yeh coronaaaaa. THE MAGIC OF THE RAIN

As I sit with my notebook and a cup of tea on this beautiful rainy day, I wonder what different I could say about the rain which has not been said before. Kahlil Gibrain compared the rain drops to ' silver threads of pearls fallen from the crown of Ishtar' while John Keats compared it to an ' immortal drink'.The rain is by far the most poetic phenomenon that the earth has ever seen. People talk about how it cleanses the earth; however, apart from cleansing our earth , it cleanses our souls. It cleanses us from fear , gloom and hatred. When it rains heavily, life comes to a standstill ; traffic jams, water logging and difficulties in commuting arise. My art journey - how I evolved as a self taught artist

I started drawing about two years ago, I was in Class 11 at that time. I had always loved the idea of art and I started this journey by watching YouTube videos and by observing original art works on Pinterest. 2018- the year where it all began I started with some simple doodling and basic mandala. I used to make black and white pieces mostly and used ivory sheets and a simple black pen. 2019 ( phase 1 ) - It gets better I started making some full fledged mandalas and doodled a lot. I also did some bohemian style art.
