The pink city is a beautiful place with a number of historical accounts attached to it. Some amazing entertainers like Padmavat, bajirao mastani , shudh Desi romance, Veer , rang de basanti etc. were shot here because of the beauty of the place and it's amazing vibe. I have philosophy as one of the courses this term and though it is a common opinion that philosophy "doesn't make sense" , I realised that a few concepts do really answer the common questions that pop up in the human mind but are actually ignored.  Deontology Vs Utilitarianism What is right ? What is wrong? According to Utilitarianism, anything which produces happiness or pleasure is RIGHT while anything which leads to pain is WRONG. It is basically based on maximizing the HAPPINESS for the most number of people. Say, you have a substantial amount of drug which can CURE 5 people but the same amount can SAVE the life of one. What would you do?  Mostly, SAVE 5. Basically, you selected the happiness of 5 over one. ULTILITARIANISM. Then there comes deontology wherein you are RIGHT if you follow RULES , WRONG if you don't. These rules could be general rules , Religious rules or other.  Let's take an example,  YOU SHOULD NOT STEAL. But wait, if yo

1.  Stop fearing Fear of not getting through a particular test, not making it to a particular club or being punished for a particular thing ( my college is a strict one and values discipline. So, punishment is a thing here.) I have friends who care about a low grade in a particular subject or not getting through a club and by the end of the trimester they were a walking- talking ball of stress. The creativity gets overshadowed by stress. I am not suggesting you to not study or not follow the rules but to CHILL a little while you do these things. 2. Social network less The best thing about a residential course is that you get to observe behaviours of different people at all times. Some are off social media ( 1% of the population) , some care too much about other people's "Instagram life ". ( We all know what I am talking about. Let's not elaborate). I know the title is a bit pretentious but hang on, I will justify it by the end of this article. Before I was about to join college, my mom asked me to discard the unnecessary stuff and that's when the idea of transforming and reusing my old stuff struck me. So , I started working on an old, ugly pair of white shoes ( which were brown and dirty by now) I picked up my fineliners and started drawing on the shoe. It was turning out to be fine so I continued I splashed some colour too and this is how they turned out to be. They looked pretty decent and I could totally wear them now.  I used fineliner pens , acrylic paint and a ribbon. That's all you need to show your creative talent and reuse your stuff.
