Why do we need to see someone's death in order to value life? RIP Sushant Singh Rajput

" Don't run behind views and followers." - my dad told told me this morning.

Sushant Singh Rajput , an outsider in the industry with a HUGE fan following , a gem and an impeccable actor stole my heart when I watched 'Kai po Che' the first time. The lively "Ish" , a true friend and a man who valued relationships more than he valued money. Whenever I rewatch the movie the love for his character rekindles. Would it be the same had someone else played that role?

Sarfaraz in "PK" , he stole the show with just "char kadam" short role in the movie. Then came "Kedarnath" ; I remember my board exams were a month away still I couldn't resist watching the movie when it got digitally released and yes, the ending broke my heart a little.

And how can I forget , Shudh desi romance where he played a confused yet charming boy living in the beautiful city of Jaipur. 

Every character he played made an impact and in some cases touched the way I perceived life.

RIP Sushant Singh Rajput , may your soul rest in peace.

The first trimester has now ended and as I look back , I realise how much these 90 days have changed us ; how I evolved into a slightly more responsible person , how I bonded with people I never thought I would. Maybe that's what college life is about. On day 0 , as the college registration went on , I looked around and observed students from different states and ethnicity. I wondered how different we all were; very different yet the same. The room allotment was the most awaited part and I was way too excited to meet my new roommates. "Room no. 16" , I read the allotted room no. against my name and entered my new room where I was going to begin a new phase of my life. As I entered, I saw my new roommate on the upper bunk bed talking in her regional language ( Telugu ) which was all greek to me and still is. 7 years of YJHD

Yeh Jawani hai deewani or YJHD is the "dil chahta hai " for 2000s kids.  Jaise kabhi Goa ka plan successful nhi hua , waise hi Manali ka bhi nhi hoega. Plus , yeh coronaaaaa. When Bunny said ,  "Mai udna chahta hu , daudna chahta hu , girna bhi chahta hun bas rukna nhi chahta." Accept it or not we all felt that. We have all had that crazy gang - the nerd, the vagabond , the guy who is ALWAYS up for fun and the crazy tomboyish sii ladki and at the end of the day that's all we got. That's all we will take away with us - MEMORIES. And when Naina said - " Yadein mithai ki dabbe ki tarah hoti hai , ek baar khula toh sirf ek tukda nhi kha paoge."  She is right.  Memories hi toh hoti hai that keep us going. The happiness we get after opening an old album , going through those moments again is amazing. Plus , kahin pahuchne ke liye kahi se nikalna toh padhega.
